Parenting: Newborns, Toddlers & Teenagers
As mothers and trained professionals we understand the effects of perinatal mood and anxiety disorders, and the impact it can have on your transition to motherhood and the bond with your child.
As your child develops, from infant to tween to teenager and young adult, new sets of parenting skills & challenges come into focus. These include: figuring out how to discipline, co-parenting styles, trust issues and (in the blink of an eye!) getting your children ready to launch.
And to boot, other dynamics can manifest, such as your own relationship with your parents and what is programmed in; it can be healing and rewarding to give your children what you didn’t have yourself.
At the Scarsdale Women’s Center, we can help you have a more adult and satisfying relationship and communication with your children as you and they grow.
